The Warhol and the ToonSeum present Cartoon Factory 2008: Scaring Up The Vote, a hands-on event and exhibition. Spend the pre-election Halloween weekend creating your own political cartoons, buttons and t-shirts with nationally syndicated cartoonist Rob Rogers of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and guest cartoonists. With only a few days left in this historic presidential race, you won’t want to miss this unique chance to participate in the process. Visitors can create their own editorial cartoons using Rob Rogers’ caricatures of Obama, Biden, McCain and Palin or by drawing their own cartoons from scratch. The completed cartoons will be on display for a full week (that’s more than 15 minutes of fame. Participants can also screen-print t-shirts of their favorite candidates, create campaign buttons and participate in a cartoon caption-writing contest.
