“Fascinating as he is to watch, and exquisite as his verbal imagery can be, it is Cale’s gifts as a storyteller that hold an audience rapt.” – San Francisco Chronicle

Palamino, David Cale’s new solo show, is a sensuous tale told from six perspectives, focusing on the adventures of an enigmatic, Irish horse-drawn carriage driver in New York City’s Central Park, who moonlights as an escort for wealthy women. Cale is the author and performer of six nationally acclaimed solo shows, a lyricist for The Jazz Passengers, and has appeared in several feature films.
