Willy Wong is a creative director and designer in New York City. In his current role as Chief Creative Officer at NYC & Company, the City of New York's official marketing, tourism, and partnership organization, he leverages design and design thinking to develop major civic initiatives and campaigns in NYC and around the world. Wong serves on the boards of AIGA/NY and SXSW Interactive. He recently taught at the School of Visual Arts as MFA thesis advisor and New York University as adjunct instructor. His commissions as an independent consultant include projects for Creative Time, Rizzoli, Alliance for the Arts, Yale School of Architecture, Cynthia Rowley, Wingspace, The Art Directors Club, Nature Conservancy, among others. Wong received his MFA from Yale University and AB from Dartmouth College.
