Summary:

As the exhibition Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal and Collecting Youth Culture moved to main land China, CAPA Literary Artists continued in their roles as anthropological collectors and started a third round of making youth time capsules to be sent to their peers at The Shanghai Fudan-Vanke Experimental School and The Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School.  Two time capsules were sent to Shanghai youth to be explored in the spring of 2013 and in a similar vein the partnering schools responded to the CAPA time capsules with reflections of what it means to be Shanghainese. Part three of this cultural exchange brought Stefan Hoffman, an international printmaker to the project. He worked with The Fudan-Vanke Experimental School in Shanghai during the spring of 2013 to create a public mural depicting the themes of Collecting Youth Culture. And upon a visit to Pittsburgh in July of 2013 he created a mural with students based on the same themes at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12.

The dialogue continues between American, Singaporean, Hong Kong, and now Chinese youth in Shanghai through the Facebook page and a Collecting Youth Culture Blog housed on the Andy Warhol Museum website to accommodate the difficulties with Facebook in main land China. The forum continues to grow and the youth involved continue to connect and learn about one another.
