| Permission Slips, Letters to Parents, and Flyers | ||
|
To help insure a successful visit to the museum it is important to keep
both students and parents well informed about your planned visit. Alongside
our Elementary School Teacher Advisory Team we have compiled some examples
and suggestions to give students and their parents all the information
they may need.

| Helpful Hints for Writing Permission Slips | |
|
1. Include detailed information about what students will see and do, allowing parents to make informed decisions about granting permission for their children to participate. 2. State clearly up front that you have previewed everything your students will see during their visit with museum staff. Keep the language positive, emphasizing the potential learning experiences at the Warhol. 3. Encourage parents to chaperone for large groups. Zee Ann and Pamela had so many parents who wanted to join their field trip that they had to turn people away! |
