Queer Youth Programs
The Warhol strives to present programs of interest to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer youth. Past events have included film screenings, live bands, and studio art workshops. The Warhol partners with local queer community groups and organizations to create a safe social space for area queer youth and their allies.
A Zine Making Workshop for Queer Youth and Allies
The Warhol teams up occasionally with the Carnegie Library of Pittburgh's Teen Department to present a series of zinemaking workshops. All high school aged queer youth and allies are welcomed. Queer youth and allies use the zine library and other resources at the Carnegie Library and The Andy Warhol Museum to learn about zines and zine design. Participants collaborate on a group zine and can further pursue individual zines.
