Outreach programs are tailored to meet the specific interests and age appropriateness of each group. The Education Department can adapt programs to suit many environments and audiences. Two structures of Outreach programs are offered:

Students from Highlands High School on a tour at the Museum as the first part of their outreach program.

Two Session Outreach

Maximum: 30 people | Fee: $550


This program takes place at The Andy Warhol Museum and at your school and includes:
A tour of the Museum’s collection introducing Andy Warhol’s art and life
Thematic discussions about the work and its relevance to contemporary culture and students’ lives
A studio project such as, silkscreen printing or blotted line drawings (in Museum or at school)
Pre or post activities within your school  led by artist educators
School and Studio Programs Coordinator, Joan McGarry printing with kids at East Tennessee University.

One Session Outreach

Maximum 30 people | Fee: $450


The Museum's artist educators go to your school or organization to conduct a workshop that includes:
Introduction to Andy Warhol and select works from the museum's collection through PowerPoint presentations or printed materials
Thematic discussion about the artwork and its relevance to contemporary culture and students’ lives
A portable studio project such as, silkscreen printing or blotted line drawings
