Youth Invasion

Youth Invasion

Youth Invasion is a multimedia event where a Production Team of local teens “take over” the Andy Warhol Museum! Students from all over the city will have their artwork and designs up for display in the Youth Art exhibit and Fashion Show. Bands will be slated to play throughout the evening, including local favorites Comrade Kangaroo. There will be crafty activities, like design-your-own Lady Gaga-inspired Glasses and airbrush tattoos! Engaging organizations including BikePGH, Planned Parenthood, the Justseeds radical print collective will be tabling on the museum’s main floor. Add free eats provided by Dozen Bakeshop and The Franktuary, and teen DJed dance party madness, do you need more? Because there IS more! So come hang out May 7th from 5pm-10pm!

Interested in learning how to DJ? There will be two DJ Workshops where teens can learn how to work the turntables with local mix-masters DJ Thermos and Mary Mack: Friday April 23rd and Friday April 30th, from 4pm-7pm in the Warhol’s Education Studio.Click here for more details!

Teens interested in learning how to DJ need to RSVP to tremontem@warhol.org.
