Curatorial Committee
Every year you may notice the walls of the Warhol museum graced with one new, exclusive exhibit which lasts only one week. In previous years, the Curatorial committee has organized exhibits around the themes of stereotypes, love, and most recently, mail art. Work for this exhibit comes directly from the Warhol's archives, and gives committee members a chance to look at some of Andy Warhol's vast collection of art and objects.
The Curatorial Committee is comprised of some of Pittsburgh’s edgiest conceptualists and organizers. Joining together every year to pluck a new topic from their metaphorical hats, the committee starts from scratch, taking their idea and reinforcing every aspect of it, ranging from design of panels to be hung to painting the gallery where the work is displayed.
This program is supported in part by a grant from YouthWorks.
