Installation of I Just Want to Watch: Warhol's Film, Video, and Television at The Andy Warhol Museum.
At The Andy Warhol Museum, Warhol’s film and video work is presented on a daily basis within the context of his other art both in the museum theater and in the galleries. In addition, the Museum presents films by others that informs and contextualizes Warhol’s work, either historically, thematically, or formally. Warhol’s pivotal place in film history is examined by showings of films that influenced him as well as films that he influenced. These special presentations include in-person appearances by visiting filmmakers and others.
