Gallery talks led by one of the museum’s artist educators have a thematic focus around a series of Warhol artworks or one of Warhol’s artistic processes. The 30-minute talk provides time for visitors to present their own insights and questions about the works of art.
Gallery talks led by Donald Warhola, one Warhol’s 10 nieces and nephews, focus on Warhola family history and stories of annual family visit’s with “Uncle Andy.” The 30-minute talk provides time for visitors to present their own insights and questions about Warhol’s life and art.
Gallery talks led by a member of the museum’s collections or curatorial staff focus on The Warhol’s permanent collection, including film and video works and Time Capsules. The 30-minute talk provides time for visitors to present their own insights and questions about the works of art.
The museum’s artist educators demonstrate Warhol’s silkscreen printing process from beginning to end, and visitors learn how the artist used this technique to create some of his most famous works of art. The 30-minute demonstration provides time for visitors to ask questions and engage in a group discussion about the impact silkscreen printing had on art in the 1960s.
