DESCRIPTION:Do you want to collaborate on planning the largest affirming prom in Western Pennsylvania? Join our Prom Planning Committee! This dynamic and inclusive group meets five times in the months leading up to our LGBTQ+ Youth Prom to collectively determine the big night’s theme\, décor\, and activities. Meetings take place at the museum and are open to all LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 13–18. \nWe provide transportation support\, food\, and a prom ticket to all planning committee members\, whether you attend one meeting or all five. SUMMARY:Teen DJ Academy
DESCRIPTION:Learn to build and blend your own remixes that will get everyone on the dance floor! Presented in partnership with Tech 25\, the Teen DJ Academy is a 14-week workshop series for participants ages 13–18 taught by professional DJs. Participants will get hands-on experience with pro gear and perform at Youth Invasion\, LGBTQ+ Prom\, and other teen events. This program is free and participants will earn a stipend for the 15 week program plus an additional stipend per performance. Space is limited.
