DESCRIPTION:Do you want to collaborate on planning the largest affirming prom in Western Pennsylvania? Join our Prom Planning Committee! This dynamic and inclusive group meets five times in the months leading up to our LGBTQ+ Youth Prom to collectively determine the big night’s theme\, décor\, and activities. Meetings take place at the museum and are open to all LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 13–18. \nWe provide transportation support\, food\, and a prom ticket to all planning committee members\, whether you attend one meeting or all five. Whether you choose an exquisite costume fit for royalty or modern prom attire\, you will revel in a space that celebrates the joy of authenticity. As the largest affirming prom in Southwestern Pennsylvania\, we are proud to offer this inclusive party that provides every young person the chance to make their prom night a treasured memory. Prom is open to all youth ages 13-18 regardless of how they identify and includes dinner\, dancing\, art activities\, and much more. \nTeens who attend one of our LGBTQ+ Youth Prom Planning Meetings will receive two reserved tickets.
