DESCRIPTION:Join artist educators for Dandy Andy\, a monthly tour that focuses on Warhol’s queer history. While his sexuality is frequently suppressed or debated\, Warhol was a gay man who had several partners throughout his life. Warhol’s boyfriends\, including Edward Wallowitch\, John Giorno\, and Jed Johnson\, were also his colleagues and collaborators\, helping to shape and define his career as an artist. This tour traces Warhol’s romantic relationships and queer identity against the backdrop of the historical gay rights movement in the United States. Tours meet on the museum’s seventh floor.

Their debut album Mind Palace Music (2023) on Carpark Records garnered much praise from outlets such as Pitchfork\, FADER\, Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan\, and NPR described the album as “a fascinating blend of acoustic instruments\, folk harmonies\, electronic production and a good dose of strangeness.” Their latest album Autosmile\, on the iconic indie label 4AD\, reflects their unique approach to the psychedelic folk tradition. Guitarist and songwriter\, Wendy Eisenberg\, opens the evening. \n\nDoors open at 7 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:We welcome back songwriter and guitarist\, Jake Xerxes Fussell\, who has distinguished himself as one of his generation’s preeminent interpreters of traditional (and not so traditional) “folk” songs. By recontextualizing ancient vernacular songs and sources of the American South\, he allows them to breathe and speak for themselves and for himself; he alternately inhabits them and allows them to inhabit him. He had this to say about his latest album\, The Old Beloved Path\, on Fat Possum Records\, which features songs he has heard for years\, but many of them felt newly illuminated: “Traditional music gets more intense the older I get. The way that I see the world is through these songs. The world of traditional music has been such a gift to me. If nothing else\, a lifelong companion.” \n\nDoors open at 7 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:We welcome Canadian singer-songwriter Ken Yates and his band to our intimate theater. His most recent album Total Cinema (2025)\, garnered wide praise from NPR Music\, Rolling Stone\, Audiotree\, The Toronto Star and No Depression\, with Atwood Magazine referring to it as “bright\, cathartic reckoning.” And Yates’ 2022 release\, Cerulean\, earned a Contemporary Album of the Year nomination at the Canadian Folk Music Awards.
