Senior Social: Pop Generation

Monday, June 16, 2025, 9 a.m.12 p.m.

Inside a gallery space with white walls, a museum educator stands behind a glass display case. He is wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and gesturing with his hands in an explanatory manner. A group of older adults is watching intently, crowded around the display case, facing away from the camera and towards the educator. On the walls behind him, color pop art portrait paintings of famous people from the 1950s and 60s are barely visible.

Senior Social: Pop Generation is a series of events exclusively presented for members ages 65 and over. Throughout the year, senior members can join The Warhol staff for lectures, artmaking activities, and gallery talks that utilize the museum’s one of a kind collection and special exhibitions.

This edition of Senior Social: Pop Generation will highlight our newest exhibition, Good Business: Andy Warhol’s Screenprints. Meet and mingle over refreshments, explore the permanent collection of the museum, and enjoy a lecture about Warhol’s Retrospectives and Reversals series from the late 1970s. This event is free for Carnegie Museums members.

  • Doors open at 9 a.m.
