Youth Art Exhibition: Stay Woke

To “stay woke” is to be continually aware of the issues concerning social justice.

Our Youth Arts Council chose “stay woke” as the theme for the museum’s Youth Art Exhibition, presented in conjunction with Youth Invasion 2018. A call for youth artists asked for work created in response to the current political climate, social justice issues, and activism from their point of view. The results of these efforts spanned a range of schools, age groups, backgrounds and perspectives.
