I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Herman “Soy Sauce” Pearl, Dr. Brittany Trotter, and Paul Thompson, who comprise this special trio version of the Pittsburgh-based Eko Chamber Collective. The full collective performed a unique and site-specific performance in February in the museum’s entrance space, developed with the room’s reverberant acoustics in mind. For this new partially improvised piece, “Layer, Rinse, Repeat,” specially performed for our Silver Home Studio Sessions series, they were kind enough to perform their parts separately from home and mix and layer them as if they were together.

Eko Chamber Collective (Cell 3) perform “Layer, Rinse, Repeat” in this special “at home” Silver Studio Session.
