This was one of our first Silver Studio Sessions from June 2013, in our Screen Test gallery. I just remember feeling like we were on to something with how intimate and candid this session felt, in particular. It was like having these immensely talented friends—Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter, Kimya Dawson, and critically acclaimed hip-hop artist/producer, Aesop Rock (aka Ian Bavitz), in their new (at the time) collaboration, The Uncluded—performing in your living room.

The Uncluded perform “Scissorhands,” “Jambi Cafe,” and “Earthquake” at The Warhol in a gallery reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory studio.
