Jessica Beck joins The Warhol from Washington D.C. where she worked at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. A summer intern in the museum’s education department all the way back in 2000, she has long standing interest in Warhol’s work and, in 2008, completed a Master’s Degree at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London with a dissertation on “Glenn Ligon Revisits Warhol: Presence and Absence in Painting, Archive and Video.”  More recently, Jessica developed the lecture series “Talking About Andy” at the Hirshhorn which included guest speakers Hal Foster and Kara Walker.
