This artwork explores how the youth of today are glued to their phones and technology and ignoring the world around them. What I miss most about being a kid is going outside and playing in the dirt. Kids today are missing that fun because their faces are glued to social media and technology.

This is a picture of a Dolan Twins hoodie I got on the boardwalk in middle school. They are a comedy duo who rose to fame on the video sharing application Vine. I’m submitting this because it represents a time in life all Gen-Z girls experienced together!

The Vine app has influenced a lot of pop-culture humor and many people continue to reference it today. It had a great impact on many people’s lives.
