Since its inception, The Warhol has continually opened itself up to young people, creating space for teens to energize and activate the museum with their own creative expressions. For this year’s Youth Invasion exhibition, The Warhol’s Youth Arts Council curated Picture Show, a selection of original portraits created by Pittsburgh-area teens. Thirty-three artists were selected, contributing work in a range of media and genres. Join Danielle Linzer, director of learning and public engagement, for a tour of the youth art exhibition and a conversation about the museum’s creative youth development initiatives.
