Recurring Event Pop Generation: Senior Social

For the generation that inspired Warhol, Pop Generation is a program exclusively for adults, age 65 and over, which takes place multiple times a year and features guided tours of The Warhol’s collection and special exhibitions, as well as a reception with complimentary refreshments. Join one of our knowledgeable arts educators for an in-depth tour followed by a light breakfast and time to mingle! If you prefer to experience art at your own pace, there are two options for a self-guided experience in the galleries and refreshments. This month, the theme will be Pop Art and the Still Life: Understand why Warhol depicted so many household objects in his paintings and discuss how the Pop Art movement impacted the still life genre. Portable stools, wheelchairs, and assistive listening devices are available upon request at the front desk, free of charge. Refreshments will be served from 10:15 a.m. until 12 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required.

Visitors can convene in The Warhol entrance space at 10 a.m.
