For the generation that inspired Warhol, Pop Generation is a program exclusively for older adults, age 65 and over, which takes place multiple times a year and features guided tours of The Warhol’s collection and special exhibitions, as well as a reception with complimentary refreshments. Join one of our knowledgeable arts educators for an in-depth, 90-minute tour through the galleries followed by an informal discussion in The Warhol entrance space. This month, the theme will be Warhol Covers the News: Investigate Warhol’s reactions to violence in the media and celebrity gossip and learn how newspaper headlines influenced his artwork. Portable stools, wheelchairs, and assistive listening devices are available upon request at the front desk, free of charge.
Visitors can convene in The Warhol entrance space at 10 a.m.
