Sound Series: Ken Yates

We welcome Canadian singer-songwriter Ken Yates and his band to our intimate theater. His most recent album Total Cinema (2025), garnered wide praise from NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Audiotree, The Toronto Star and No Depression, with Atwood Magazine referring to it as “bright, cathartic reckoning.” And Yates’ 2022 release, Cerulean, earned a Contemporary Album of the Year nomination at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Yates has also recently toured with artists such as Medium Build, Madison Cunningham and Kathleen Edwards.
