The Warhol welcomes the inimitable Verve recording artist, Nellie McKay, for a unique evening featuring two performances in the intimate Warhol Theater. Beginning at 7:00 with a performance of Doris Day classics on her Normal As Blueberry Pie album, which is hailed as “among the killer overhauls of American standards”  and one of 2009’s best albums (The New York Times). At 9:00 she will also perform original material from her latest release, Home Sweet Mobile Home, which features the playful lyrics and socially conscious point of view that has characterized her music since her breakthrough 2004 debut Get Away From Me.
