Join The Warhol Academy for an insightful discussion on becoming an entrepreneur in the arts! Explore the struggles and hacks of working for yourself in a lane of one’s own choosing. Learn how these professionals have built their own company, brand, following, and/or loyal customer base. Our panelists will discuss their POV on establishing a business, marketing, and the lesser seen labor of accounting, finance and creating a digital presence. Artists, entrepreneurs and anyone who leans towards a creative persuasion will benefit from the topics and tasks covered with Pittsburgh’s own creative business owners. You’ll leave with actionable steps to funnel your ideas into a sustainable career.

Special guest panelists:

  • Morgan Overton, artist, founder & owner of Morgan Overton Art Gallery
  • Candace Jane Opper, finance & operations director of Casey Droege Cultural Productions and owner of Fringe Benefits Bookkeeping
  • Elisa Cevallos, photographer & owner of South Breeze Photography
  • Ryan McLennan, owner of Bottom Feeder Books
  • Rich Cefalo, Clearview AVP of business lending & services
  • Rian-Louis (moderator), host of Rian Out Loud podcast
